How do I join GIOP?
- Fill out the new member application form to place your registration information in the database.
- Download the Annual Membership Dues Receipt found in the files area, and send a copy with your dues payment to the address listed on the form.
- Upon receipt of payment, an automated message will be sent to you indicating that your membership has been activated.
Who are our members?
Our membership is comprised of a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences in the public and private sectors including: - Corporate human resource and organizational development personnel (associates, managers, directors, V.P.s)
- Independent HR - IO - OD consultant practictioners
- College/university faculty and students
What are the benefits of membership?
Membership benefits include reduced admission fees for GIOP-sponsored professional development and networking events, a year-end conference & research poster presentation, graduate student conference sponsorships, access to the members-only section of the GIOP website, informative newsletters, online membership directory, unlimited access to the resource file database, and much more! Professional membership is open to:
All human resource professionals in the greater St. Louis area participating in the study, research or application of Industrial/Organizational Psychology principles in business, government, academia, or consulting.
Student membership is open to:
Any person currently enrolled on a full-time basis in a graduate Industrial/ Organizational Psychology or related program within the greater St. Louis area.
Membership dues & payment:
Annual membership is $40.00 for professionals and $15 for students. Individuals interested in becoming a member or renewing/reactivating their current memberships may download the annual membership dues receipt form from the files area.
